WHAT IS THE GALA?

The Davidson's Mains Children's Gala is a day to celebrate our local community.  


In the week prior to the Gala there will be the  Gala 5-a-side Football for Tournament for P1 - S2, and our Scrufts Dogs Show. 


On Gala Day, at 11:30 am there is the Gala Parade along Main Street which features the Gala Court children and local children's groups.  


On Gala Day, 12:00 - 4:00 pm within the grounds of Lauriston Castle, there will  be a fun fair, pony rides, circus performers and workshops, stage performances, local vendors, kids races, fancy dress competition, alpacas, a police car to explore, face painting, glitter bar, Scouts food stall, food trucks, homebaking, refreshments and much more! Where does the Parade Start?

11:30 am at The Green, Davidson's Mains

The parade starts on The Green, proceeds along Main Street turning right onto Cramond Road South and right again into Lauriston Castle where it finishes.
