5-a-Side Football Tournament

To keep the size of our tournament manageable for our volunteers, at this time, booking is open only to children attending schools within the Royal High catchment, which consists of:  

• Davidson's Mains Primary School
• Cramond Primary School 
• Blackhall Primary School 
• Clermiston Primary School 
• Royal High School

Toward the end of the registration period, if we have spaces available, we are more than happy to welcome teams from outside the area.  If you would like to be notified should we have spaces to offer, please add your name and email to the appropriate waiting list.

• Registration closes Friday, 31st May 2026 at 5:00 pm
• Both girls and boys can play and mixed gender teams are encouraged
• 🎉 For 2026, we are introducing an all-girls tournament which will take place on the Wednesday.  Girls are welcome to play on any of the days with mixed or girls-only teams.
• Maximum 7 players per team (2 substitutes)

• The tournament will take place in the evening.  It is expected the younger teams may play from about 5:00 - 7:30/8:00 pm and the older teams may play 5:30 to 9:00 pm.  
• The official start and end times for the tournament will be confirmed via email after booking has closed and the number of teams has been finalised.  

• The tournament format will depend on numbers, but is likely to be round-robin groups and knock-out final stages
• There will be medals for the winning teams and certificates for runners-up
• The P6-P7 category winners will also be awarded the D’MAINS GALA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS trophy.

Registration prices are:

• £15 per team
• £3 per individual (only applicable for those registering as a free agent)

100% of the proceeds go toward funding our annual Davidson's Mains Children's Gala.

• Our local 30th Craigalmond Scout Group will be selling refreshments, hot dogs, crisps and sweeties on both nights.
